February 19th-March 1st I will be in Berkeley for a workshop on Poly hosted by the Topos Institute.
January 16th-24th I visited David Jaz Myers in Abu Dhabi and gave a surprise talk at Urs Schreiber’s group internal seminar.

December 18th-19th I attended the 4th ItaCa Workshop, in Turin.
December 7th-10th I was in Birmingham to attend the ARIA workshop on AI safety led by David Darlymple.
November 19th-24th I attended the workshop ‘Emergence and Non-Compositionality in Complex Systems’, organized by me and Jules Hedges at Wytham Abbey.
July 31st-August 04th I attended the Sixth Internal Conference on Applied Category Theory remotely, and gave a talk.
July 02nd-08th I attended the International Conference on Category Theory organized in UCLouvain in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, where David Jaz Myers and Dylan Braithwaite gave talks about joint work.
May 29th-June 01st I attended the ‘Workshop on Doctrines & Fibrations‘ organized by the logic group in Padova.
April 28th-May 01st I was invited to the ‘Workshop on Quantitative Logic and Reasoning‘ organized by Prakash Panangaden and Alexandra da Silva at the Bellairs Research Centre, in Barbados.
April 19th-21st I attended and co-organized the MSP Away Day, a get-together of my research group in the nearby Island of Bute. Here’s a group picture:
April 17th-19th I was invited to another, smaller scale, FRA’x’ workshop in Wytham, Oxford organized by Eliana Lorch and David Darlymple. I had the pleasure of doing math this way:
January 08th-14th I was invited to the second workshop in the FRA series in Bodega Bay, California, organized by Topos Institute and CIFAR.
January 04th-07th I spoke at the Special Session on Applied Category Theory during JMM 2023, following up on the MRC week last year.
